In the Forces? Cut up to 25% off a new car 8th Aug 05 at 4:36 PM
Some car dealers have special deals with manufacturers, meaning members of the UKís armed forces can get up to 25% off a carís list price. One dealer, http://www.acesales.co.uk/, does this. Its cars are supplied through the UK via UK main dealers and arenít imports. They also often have full 3-year warranties. Often thereís a choice between purchasing them tax-free if youíre going to be posted overseas or tax-paid if youíre going to use them in the UK.

    Is the deal that good?

No deal ever is, however it is definitely worth using for comparison purposes. Of course check out the competition before doing anything. Some good new car comparison services are
Insuresupermarket*, Drive the deal, Autofinders, carhound, micronet, broadspeed, kelkoo*, oneswoop, broker4cars, netcarco.co.uk, carsource, jamjar
