Although reading the article I was struck by this

Last week, on two particularly successful trips to the supermarket, he managed to get a total of £41 worth of food including quiches, chicken, sausages, tomato puree, canned drinks, flowers, cheese and 12 pints of milk for just 67p.

most of that would not automatically be accepted by a homeless charity or foodbank.

They tend to accept non perishables where I live.

You can only claim a maximum of 10 vouchers per calendar month

Looking at the pictures there are far more than 10 vouchers being used

Now we do it so we can help other people who are less fortunate, which is why we get things for our local foodbank and homelessness charities.

You are not helpng- you are making life harder for people in the situation you were once in : those who are struggling and who don't have access to foodbanks. That would be me a few years ago, struggling with two young children- one voucher meant we could have tinned fruit & rice for pudding.

Most of that definitely not going to a food bank

:money:We we’re stoped in Asda southport and told you can’t use other people’s bills and it was frustrating asda they said I could be charged with this offence the deputy manger doesn’t no asda policy head office confirmed that it was ok as long as you stay in the rules

I don't understand how they are not helping. They are collecting vouchers that people have thrown away. They are not stopping you from using your vouchers or wombling vouchers.
