Casual job dilema!

So its not really a dilemma!
I have only had 5 jobs my whole life. One offered more hours when I said I was leaving and the other two offered more money. I always left on good terms because I was treated well for the most part.
If you like the people and have been treated well. Then ring or go in and say goodbye. You can ask if they want notice. Yet you gave the impression they were less than that by the ringing an hour before. Hence the replies. If you want a second job there in the future then the answer is obvious I would have thought.0
