The Wright Stuff Feelgood giveaway competition 2017 – Additional Terms and Conditions

1. These terms and conditions are in addition to Channel 5’s competition terms and conditions published on this website (http://www.channel5.com/competition-terms-and-conditions ), which also apply to this competition, but in the event of a conflict, these additional terms and conditions will prevail.
2. You must be 18 years of age or over to submit an entry to this competition.
3. The competition opens at 9.15am on Monday 20th March 2017 and closes at 10.45am on Friday 24th March 2017.
4. One prize winner will be selected on each day that the competition is open (the prizes for each day are set out at clause 13 below) from all eligible entries received in the following daily timeframes (each a “daily timeframe”):
The Monday 20th March 2017 winner
will be selected from entries received between 9.15am and 10.45am on Monday 20th March 2017.
The Tuesday 21st March 2017 winner
will be selected from entries received between 10.46am Monday 20th March and 10.45am Tuesday 21st March 2017.
The Wednesday 22nd March 2017 winner
will be selected from entries received between 10.46am Tuesday 21st March and 10.45am Wednesday 22nd March 2017.
The Thursday 23rd March 2017 winner
will be selected from entries received between 10.46am Wednesday 22nd March 2017 and 10.45am Thursday 23rd March 2017.
The Friday 24th March 2017 winner
will be selected from entries received between 10.46am Thursday 23rd March and 10.45am Friday 24th March 2017.
Entries received before 9.15am on Monday 20th March 2017 or after 10.45am on Friday 24th March 2017 will be ineligible for entry into the competition.
5. To participate in this competition entrants need to take a picture of something that makes them happy and email it to us at [EMAIL="wrightstuff@channel5.com"]wrightstuff@channel5.com[/EMAIL] together with their name, address and phone number.
6. In taking the photo, entrants must not do anything illegal and/or dangerous and/or that would put themselves or others at any risk.
7. Only the first entry received in each daily timeframe set out in clause 4 above from any one email address will be eligible for entry into the selection process for that day’s winner. Any subsequent entries from the same email address in any daily timeframe will be ineligible.
8. By entering your photo into this competition, you confirm that you are the copyright holder and creator of the photograph and that you have all necessary consents and releases (in particular from anyone else appearing in the photo) in order to enter the photo into this competition, and for its use by Channel 5 in all media, and that you will be responsible for any claims made by any third party over such entry or use. You also grant Channel 5 a perpetual and non-exclusive licence to use your photo in all media worldwide and agree that you will not be entitled to any fee for such use.
9. All eligible entries received at the email address [EMAIL="wrightsatuff@channel5.com"]wrightsatuff@channel5.com[/EMAIL] within each daily timeframe will be judged by a team of TWS staff for creativity, artistic merit, originality and the feelgood factor. The team of TWS staff will then select a winner each day that the competition is open. If any of the entries is from, or includes, a member of the team’s immediate family (including any live-in partner or household member), a close friend or an employer or employee, that team member will not participate in the selection of that day’s winning entry and the decision will be made by the remaining team. The TWS team’s decision is final.
10. Each day’s winner will be announced on-air during that day’s programme (Monday 20th March to Friday 24th March 2017) and will also be notified via an email sent within the next 7 days.
11. If any winner fails to provide evidence requested by Channel 5 in its sole discretion to verify the age, identity and/or eligibility of the winner within one calendar month of the transmission date of the winner notification email, this may result in forfeiture of the prize and Channel 5 reserves the right to disqualify the winner (without further liability to the winner) and offer the prize to the entrant that the TWS team decided came second on that day, or, if necessary, to the entrant that the team decided came third on that day.
12. Each prize winner must book their trip within 28 days of the date of their congratulations email from the prize provider and at least six weeks in advance of their preferred booking date or their prize may be forfeited.

Monday 20th March – The Wright Stuff: Win a Trip for 2 to Edinburgh
Additional Terms and Conditions

1) The prize comprises:
a) Two (2) nights’ four-star hotel accommodation in Edinburgh, based on the prize winner and their guest sharing a double or/twin room on a bed and breakfast basis (subject to availability); and
b) £100 spending money to use towards travel expenses.
2) The prize winner must book their hotel stay within 28 days of their congratulations e-mail from Element being sent and at least six weeks in advance of their preferred departure date or the prize may be forfeited.
3) The hotel stay must be taken and completed by 30th March 2018. The hotel stay cannot be taken over any UK Bank Holidays (1 & 29 May 2017, 28 August 2017, 25 & 26 December 2017, 1 January 2018) or Easter weekend (14 – 17 April 2017). The prize and its components are subject to availability.
4) Where the prize winner is under 18 years old, he/she must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over to check into the hotel. Please note that either the prize winner or their companion will need a current and valid credit card in order to check into the hotel for security deposit purposes.
5) The prize excludes travel, drinks, additional meals, excursions, attractions, spa treatments, gratuities, personal expenses, travel insurance and all other costs and arrangements not expressly included in the prize.
6) The prize and all its elements are subject to availability.
7) There is no cash alternative or refund for unused portions of the prize. The prize is non-transferrable.
8) Any amendments made by the prize winner after the booking is confirmed may be subject to administration charges levied by the specific supplier. Any such charges will be the responsibility of the prize winner.
9) A cheque for the spending money included in the prize will be issued in the prize winner’s name within 14 days of the hotel stay booking being confirmed.

Tuesday 21st March – The Wright Stuff: Win a Trip for 2 to The Grand Hotel, York Additional Terms and Conditions

1) The prize comprises of the following. A two (2) night break for two (2) people to The Grand Hotel.
• 2 nights stay at The Grand Hotel, York sharing a Classic twin or double room with daily breakfast, subject to availability
• Evening meal on both nights at the Hudson Restaurant at The Grand Hotel, York (No drinks included)
2) Where the prize winner is under 18 years old, he/she must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over to check into the hotel. Please note the prize winner or their companion will need a current and valid credit card in order to check in at the hotel for security deposit purposes.
3) The prize must be taken by 30th June 2018 but cannot be taken on 28th August 2017, or during 20th December 2017 to 4th January 2018, or 29th March 2018 to 3rd April 2018 or on 1st May 2018.
