CCA request advice please

Hi all,
I have several debts with credit reference agencies that I am making token payments to every month. I would like to send out CCA requests for these. Can I do this if I am making payments?
Should I stop making payments while I wait for the responses or continue paying my £1 per month?
Also what type of debts does a CCA apply to? I have a couple of old credit cards, defaulted mobile phones and catalogues.
There are a couple of bank accounts which are overdrawn due to charges being applied to charges after failed direct debits or standing orders. Am I right in thinking that a CCA wouldn't apply to these?
Many thanks for any advice you can offer.

Hi,
You can send CCA. Requests whenever you like, but they would only apply to loans, credit cards, catalogue accounts, not bank accounts or mobile phone contracts.
I would keep paying your £1 a month, until you hear back from the creditor.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards.
