Martin if you said "If the product wasn't crap....:money:" directly to to the Treasury Select Committee, I wished I had been there to see their faces.:D
Since Martin is now on the challenger panel, I thought it might be fun to just remind MSE'ers, that the video of the famous exchange can still be seen at http://www.parliamentlive.tv/Event/Index/9ea027e2-37ad-453f-9573-466a79066638

The comment quoted by robin58 in the other MAS thread this March was uttered soon after 15:43 on Wednesday 13 June 2012 - the next three or four minutes were quite an entertaining watch :D

A lot of ground was covered by Martin that afternoon. Pleased to see someone has finally realised that MAS need Martin's input on a more formal basis, even if it wasn't MAS themselves! It only took 3 years to wake up ... :p

They've spent £50 million on adverts! Yeesus, I reckon they need all the help they can get from Martin. Thanks for sharing, and loving his direct choice of words :)

MAS had spent £50 million on marketing its website since it started four years ago, while it had spent an overall £208.9 million on the service over the same time period.
Maybe Mr Cameron should ring MAS for ideas on what to do with the economy? or better still he could join MSE forums ???
