I am a bit hard up at the moment and could do with releasing money tied up in my annuity which only pays a small sum each month .
Any suggestions.

Almost certainly you will not at this point in time be able to sell your annuity for cash.
Providers may in a very limited number of circumstances allow the unwinding of existing annuities.
Best to contact your provider to see if it is possible, while being prepared for the answer to be "no".I work for a financial services intermediary specialising in the at-retirement market. I am not a financial adviser, and any comments represent my opinion only and should not be construed as advice or a recommendation0 -
Keep an eye on the Budget statement next month. It'll probably be the last from the Great Pension Liberator, and he might fancy one or two last gestures in that direction.Free the dunston one next time too.0
