Giveaway started 14 Jan 2014

wtd_icon.gifWhat's this about?

wtd_icon.gif What to do
If you're interested, just reply to this (click on 'post reply') and say:

"Ooh la la!"

To do this you need to be registered for the Forum (if you're not, when you click 'reply', you'll be taken through the process. It's free, of course).

APPEAL: Please ONLY reply to this thread if you will check your private messages NEXT week (Fri 24 Jan).

Remember, you must be quick as 75 names are being picked and there are only 25 books. This is because, sadly, not everyone gets in touch, so doing it this way helps to speed up the administration process.

Also, please DON'T email in, as your name won't be counted. Nor include your contact details in this thread as, for your own safety, we don't allow personal details on the public forum so your post may be deleted.

This giveaway appears in the weekly email (if you don't already get the email go to http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/tips) and will close at 10am on Mon 20 Jan, so please get your posts in before then.

The giveaway has a strict one entry per household policy and entries can be deemed ineligible without any explanation or notification.

wtd_icon.gif More about this book
The book's blurb...

"Marco Polo Paris leads you through the French capital, a city that has managed to retain its own special flair. This practical pocket-sized guide takes you along its grand boulevards, introduces you to the distinctive atmosphere of each quarter and invites you to explore its world-famous as well as its less well-known museums.

The Insider Tips reveal an ideal place for a picnic (on an island right in the heart of the city) and where everyone meets up on market day. The Best Of pages highlight what’s especially typical of Paris, recommend places to go for free, have tips for rainy days and where you can relax and unwind. Panels in each chapter suggest things to do if you’re on a tight budget and where to pick up some real bargains.

To help you find your way around there’s a detailed street atlas inside, a useful M!tro map in the backcover, plus a handy pull-out map."

wtd_icon.gifHow will the winners be chosen?

75 people will be picked at random (we've a special little computer program to do it) and a private message will be sent to each of their winning usernames requesting their USERNAME, FULL NAME and ADDRESS details (there'll be an email address to send this information to, we don't want it done via private messages).

The FIRST 25 people to get back to me will win a copy of the book.

wtd_icon.gifWhen will I get the book?
The publisher providing these books will send them out directly, though to aid administration, this won't happen until all 25 winners have provided their names and addresses, so it may take several weeks between the giveaway's end and actual receipt.
