I have had a flexible rate Yorkshire mortgage for 10 years now. I there any way that I can calculate what my compensation should be so that I don't have to trust their figures?0

has anyone had any letter from the Clydesdale advising of refunds?0

Received a letter from CB on 26th September, my mortgage was credited with the amount stated on the letter.
Made a payment to my mortgage on the 1st October, checked my mortgage today and the money I had received has been taken out today !!.
Spoke to CB who said the should not have credited my account.
Another huge mistake by the Bank again.
Have to go through the complaint procedure again :mad:0 -
Same here- got the letter and was told we had almost £6000 credited. Now they have taken it back- and apologised and said we are getting FIFTY pounds compensation. You can't make it up with this bank.weight loss target 23lbs/49lb0

Update
CB phoned me back, offered me £100.
I declined this I and said I want to start complaints procedure.
A week passed, another phone call offering me £200.
I said no to this & would like the offer in writing.

Hi, How would I know if I'd underpaid or overpaid. Because it was variable It just got taken from account and I didn't notice but I did get a letter from them saying I may have been affected but it's not clear. I think they wrote to me a couple of years ago telling me my mortgage wouldn't be paid till May 2018 whereas it should have been Feb 2018 - would that have been the shortfall? Thanks, its a bit confusing0
