What's this about?

What to do
If you're interested, just reply to this (click on 'post reply') and say:
"Eyes Wide Open"
To do this you need to be registered for the Forum (if you're not, when you click 'reply', you'll be taken through the process. It's free, of course).APPEAL: Please ONLY reply to this thread if you will check your private messages NEXT week (Wed 25 Sept). If successful, you'll be sent a private message on this date to say you've been shortlisted, along with instructions on what to do next.
Remember, you must be quick as 75 names are being picked and there are only 25 books. This is because, sadly, not everyone gets in touch, so doing it this way helps to speed up the administration process.

This giveaway appears in the weekly email (if you don't already get the email go to www.moneysavingexpert.com/tips) and will close at 10am on Mon 23 Sep, so please get your posts in before then.
The giveaway has a strict one entry per household policy and entries can be deemed ineligible without any explanation or notification.
More about this book
The book's blurb...
"We face momentous decisions with important consequences throughout our lives. We have never had better access to information and expertise, but the data deluge has become a double edged sword. We scour books, talk over options with our friends, search the internet, ask experts and trust our guts, but which sources of information are credible? Whose advice can we trust? And how hard do we really scrutinise those we listen to and interrogate the information they provide?
In Eyes Wide Open Noreena Hertz reveals the extent to which life-altering, business-affecting, policy-determining, and health-defining decisions are made based on partial information, assumed wisdoms, corrupted data and insufficient scrutiny. All the more reason for us to become empowered decision-makers, capable of making high stake choices. Whether you are a business person or a parent it’s time to take a radically different approach.
This essential guide offers 10 clear steps to become a confident, independent and wise decision-maker – savvy to how our emotions, moods, and habits can trip us up. It’s time to make decisions with our eyes wide open, for the sake of our health, wealth, relationships and our future security."
How will the winners be chosen?
75 people will be picked at random (we've a special little computer programme to do it) and a private message will be sent to each of their winning usernames requesting their USERNAME, FULL NAME and ADDRESS details (there'll be an email address to send this information to, we don't want it done via private messages).
The FIRST 25 people to get back to me will win a copy of the book.
When will I get the book?
The publisher providing these books will send them out directly, though to aid administration, this won't happen until all 25 winners have provided their names and addresses, so it may take several weeks between the giveaway's end and actual receipt.
