Some red onions.
Canned tomatoes beans. Dried bean of all sorts lentils chick peas. A bit of frozen broccoli ,sprouts. Stuffing mix, bread, suet crust pastry mix, eggs, pesto.
Not much in the way of veg and no potatoes. I have the usual herbs spices.
I really don't want to shop til tues if I don't have too, but I can't get my head round 2 dinners without the normal carrots peas pots etc, even though we don't always eat them every meal.
Any ideas or suggestions gratefully received . One meal I have lots of time to make the other needs to be 45min or less

Chicken or steak could be made into something stir-fry-esque with the noodles (brocolli goes nice with noodles). Cook extra of the meat to serve as another meal with rice (cook the rice the day before, too, and you can make egg fried rice as it works better with leftovers - just run cold water over the rice as soon as it's cooked to cool it quickly, this makes it safe to reheat)
Fryup with the sausages and bacons, with bread, beans, egg but no potatoes.
Tomatoes made into a tomato sauce with the chicken to serve with pasta.
Chicken and/or sausage made into a casserole - chunks of brocolli, lentils to bulk it out, serve with bread. A friend made us this meal one and I've made it several times since as it was so tasty - though I ditched the sweetener in favour of a bit of sugar.

If you had the ingredients, you could serve with dumplings instead of/as well as some bread.
You can add rice to stews/soups. You can sub the carrot in the second recipe for brocolli
