It does seem like there are more increases than ever. When I first moved to London in 2008 a bus fare cost £1 with a cap of £3.30 a day, now the daily cap has risen by a third to £4.40! With a single fare of £1.40 - more than a third.
I understand it's for the upgrade of everything they seem to be doing, but it does suck the amount it's gone up by in the past 4 years.
As I know I'll be working in January, I'll be buying my travelcard just before New Year.0
