Is safety the issue or is it PR to stifle competition.

Just wondering how someone would tell, are the pills coded or have a hologram strip or something? I just use the pollon balm thing and sun glasses, can't budget for pills right now and am too worried about picking out an out of date or last years foruma version of the pills if I take advantage of any sales.

Was this article sponsored by the major Hayfever Brands ? Saved hundreds by not using brand names, and buying online unbranded stuff. Its works fine and never had a problem.

Don't seem that cheap tbh, I bought some from home bargains at the weekend, two 14tab packets for £1.40 so a shade under a month for half the price of the online prices. Like anything, you just need to shop around.

You can check what the pills are supposed to look like at this site:
    http://reference.medscape.com/drug/zyrtec-cetirizine-343384#90

They don't have images for everything though. Only high value/readily counterfeited meds tend to have holograms e.g. Viagra.

The article wasn't saying not to buy unbranded hayfever tablets. It was saying to buy them from regulated firms. The standards firms have to abide by can be read here. Some people don't even know there's a different between unregulated and regulated.

You can see that the current cheapest online pharmacy for hayfever meds is registered:
