Cheer Will for making us all feel better!
Ridiculous money..sorry just thinking out loud.
cant wait for the 'Well it is only a short career' crowd to arrive.
Alan Shearer's been around since 1922 surely:j0 -
The thing to consider is they are highly paid but unlikely to be paying after they turn 32 there for they have a theoretical carear of 15 years, in those 15 years they will earn the same as most people in there own choosen carear i would have thought. If it doesnt pay rent sell it.

for the players in the top two leagues its alright but u have to think that for the players in the bottom two leagues that they simply won't earn enough to live on for the rest of their lives...which means they need alternative careers.
I know a guy that was supposed to the next big thing and had trials for derby (when they were good) and basically as far as i know dropped out fo school and has no grades bar GCSE and now after going on his travels he now plays for Kings Lynn!!!!
the big time huh! lol, i hate him btw

I just think given the chance those that moan about there earnings would be happy to take the same amount home wouldnt they :-), on the other had given the option of 15 years carear or a steady income more or less till death do you part its not going to make that much differance, yes they have a talanet and are paid so for it, if there talent exceeds expectations they get better paid and due to this talent the Company sorry team get more sponsership, Its Business not sport, sport is a by product of it.
If you exceed expectations in your chosen carear see your boss about a pay increase or negotiate a better wage with a compeditor .... the choices are there for everyone. The fact that people want to complain about other peoples ability to take advantange of the skill they have shows there shallowness or lack of belief in there own skills and abilities. If it doesnt pay rent sell it.

I cannot in a million years think that a footballer player in the top two leagues can justify what they earn. My OH is a paramedic, but if he didn't do all the overtime he could then we could not live off his wages (I work also) - he works hard, is excellent at his job and dedicated and it makes my blood boil to see somebody get paid extreme amounts of money for something that they would still do, even if they didn't get paid as much, as it is in their blood - their life is playing football!!When you were born, you were crying and everyone around was smiling. Live your life so at the end, you're the one who is smiling and everyone around you is crying! :rotfl:0

You cant ever ever ever ever blame the players for what they earn. Sure i could ask my boss for 50k a week saying that i am brilliant at my job I'm an asset etc, my boss would tell me to go do one. The footballers bosses didn't they paid them, in my opinion it is the clubs that are to blame not the players, after all if i was offered that money i would bite your hand off for it as would most of youOnly when the last tree has died, the last river has been poisoned, and the last fish has been caught,
will we realise that we cannot eat money.0
