So cute! Neo Pets is a free online community, supported by product placement. You can choose from dozens of virtual pets or customise your own. They're similar to the Tamogachis and you make sure you give them basics as food and water, but you can also play games with them. Apparently Sony is releasing a game version that you have to pay for - so this is a great spot.

ive been with this site for quite some time and can assure you pet never dies but the time just seems to go so fast and can be very addictive but i love it lol, if anyone is going to join mail me as i can then refer you so my pet gets freebies!!

I have been playing for years....it was actually designed by some uni students here in old blighty from what I understand...they blocked it at work though!!! 
P.S watch out when mentioning your signup link, people will have a massive go at you because they get nothing as a bonus and you get something (thats from my own personal experience )

I've been on neopets for a few years since my grandson was given one for a birthday present and unfortunately I'm hooked!!
Go to neopets freebies.com and you'll get loads of things free for your neopet especially free food and points which add up to give money in the Neopian bank,you can build a house etc and the games are really good,most are also very addictive though as well!

omg ....me too....jus remembered neopets after seeing this...brings me to the old days when i was glued to the computer endless...be warned-it is very addictive....even the shopping!!!

Oops, I better go check my pet too!! Haven't been on since before Christmas I don't think. The poor wee mite will be starving.
Neopets is great fun, and I have been on it for about 7 years. I go through phases where I spend a lot of time there, then get a bit bored and don't go on for a bit.
