We go bananas for bananas in the UK, just but one in three sold here are Fairtrade.
The Fairtrade mark ensures better prices and fairer rights for farmers and workers in the developing world. Goods often cost the same whether they're Fairtrade or not, so find out where to swap your shop for Fairtrade Fortnight and let us know what you think of Fairtrade food below.

the problems with fairtrade is that they are always wrapped in plastic - Bananas come with a perfect bio-degradable wrapping - i will not add to the mountain of plastic pollution when it is crazy to do so.0
