Win a pair of VIP tickets to the day of your choice at Wireless Festival

With the sun finally out of hibernation and the summer nearly in sight, the O2 Wireless Festival is ready to announce a host of amazing new additions to the quadruple headline bill of JAY-Z, MORRISSEY, FATBOY SLIM and COUNTING CROWS. This is by no means the end of the bill so keep checking back for more new names on each day as well as news on all the non musical entertainment planned for the site, details of which will be announced soon.

Thursday 3rd July sees the world's biggest hip-hop star, JAY-Z, in the headlining slot for what is sure to be a landmark headline performance in the centre of the capital. With man of the moment MARK RONSON already announced as the lead in a supporting cast of rare quality, including an outing for current press darlings HERCULES AND LOVE AFFAIR, promoters Live Nation are pleased to add yet more great names to the day.

Friday 4th July brings MORRISSEY's ONLY UK SHOW THIS SUMMER TO HYDE PARK. With a unique support in the form of US alternative Godhead BECK and cult superstars THE NATIONAL also announced this is a day for the connoisseur. Throw in punk goddess SIOUXSIE and the original punks NEW YORK DOLLS and you already have an outstanding day of alternative music. Now we are pleased to announce a host of new acts for the bill with some of the coolest new bands at the forefront.

Saturday 5th July already reads like the beginnings of a history of dance music. With superstar DJ FATBOY SLIM taking the decks for the climax of the biggest dance party Hyde Park has seen and able support from legendary funk master BOOTSY COLLINS and techno titans UNDERWORLD. With current chart smash SAM SPARRO making his UK festival debut and hotly tipped Mancs THE WHIP already on the bill the following additions up the ante and guarantee a beat filled day to kick off the weekend.

Sunday 6th July is the date on which some of the world's biggest acts descend on Hyde Park. With headliners COUNTING CROWS ably supported by Aussies POWDERFINGER and the US's BEN HARPER AND THE INNOCENT CRIMINALS, the bill also already includes the world famous EDDY GRANT and cult US indie rockers THE HOLD STEADY. Now the following additions continue the worldwide theme of the day.

O2 Wireless Festival remains a unique feature on the festival calendar. With its location in the very heart of London served by multiple tube stations and numerous bus routes, the event is, by its very nature, an ecologically sound event, the audience all coming to the event by public transport. The event also allows festival goers the opportunity to spend the day watching the best in popular music before deciding on their own aftershow at one of the capital's numerous late night bars, restaurants and nightclubs, all within easy reach of the site.
