Additional terms and conditions for 'Win flights and accommodation for two people to Hong Kong with Cathay Pacific' competition

1. The tickets are not redeemable for cash, non-transferable, non- endorsable and must be used within validity.

2. The tickets are valid for 12 months from the letter's date.† All travel must be completed before the expiry date.

3. The tickets are on a confirmed basis but are subject to embargo periods and seat availability.

4. When contacting Cathay Pacific please provide some flexibility in your dates of travel. We may not be able to confirm your reservations on your preferred choice of dates.

5. In line with the EU Directive Denied Boarding Compensation is not applicable on free-of-charge tickets.
6. Flights will be booked in economy class.

7. Accommodation will be booked in a minimum of 4* accommodation however the exact hotel for this trip will not be known until dates for the flights have been confirmed and the tickets have been issued.

8. Transfers to and from the hotel to the airport are not included in the prize.

† The winner and the nominee must travel together.
The ticket is valid on Cathay Pacific Airways operated flights (CX) only.

Embargo period: travel may not be taken during the following periods:
London to Hong Kong: Chinese New Year 2008, Easter 2008, July/August 2008, October 2008, December 2008
Hong Kong to London: As above. And for the same periods in 2009.
