I wanna: large slow cooker

OK Chaps, the slow cookers in this thread are too old to be competitive now so:
I would like to buy a large slow cooker (at least 5 litres) at as cheap a price as I can. I do want something decent though so any suggestions are most welcome.
Thanks in advance for all replies.

Found a Paul Rankin 5.5 litre Stainless Steel Slow Cooker on there for £19.99 RRP £39.99.
Can anyone beat that? Or does anyone have one so I can find out if they are good? Thanks.3 kids(DS1 6 Nov, DS2 8 Feb, DS3 24 Dec) a hubby and two cats - I love to save every penny I can!

I have never used one but on the Money saving old style forum a lot of people have seem to have Morphy Richards one.
I'm sure other people have asked that question which one is best. Have a quick search and I am sure it will find something.
I am toying with the idea of getting one. But just not sure how many times a week I would use it.

That's the one I meant. On the site they recommend and oval one. This is so you can fit a leg of lamb or a whole chicken in. 5.5ltr should be big enough for a family. Mines an old 2.5ltr big enough for two. There are some great receipes on Old Style.£2 Coins Savings Club 2012 is £4.............................NCFC member No: 00005.........

Brilliant guys. There is a Robert Dyas in Cheltenham so maybe a nice excuse for a short hop down the M5!
Will check out a few reviews on them all first though!3 kids(DS1 6 Nov, DS2 8 Feb, DS3 24 Dec) a hubby and two cats - I love to save every penny I can!

just repeating someone else I think but the Aldi advert for the 6.8l one is in some of the tabloids this morning, not sure of the make0

Thanks. We do not have an Aldi anywhere near where we live. So far the Robert Dyas one looks like the best bet although still need a few reviews.3 kids(DS1 6 Nov, DS2 8 Feb, DS3 24 Dec) a hubby and two cats - I love to save every penny I can!

The only thing with the Aldi one is that it has low, high and auto, no medium temp on it.
Were as the MR's has all of them. Not sure about the Paul Rankin one.
