It's a tuner box for a plasma display panel

Older plasma screens used to have separate boxes feeding images to the screen (there were no SCARTS, HDMI etc on the screen itself), so us early adopters had to have a separate box lik this one. Since it's model-specific it's probably not going to be of use to 99% of the board
