Little Princess DVD and a portable player

littleprincess_portabledvd.jpgLittle Princess Volume 5, Playtime in the Kingdom, is the spectacular conclusion of The Little Princess (first) series and is available on DVD for the first time ever.

To celebrate this amazing launch, we have teamed up with Little Princess to offer one lucky person a portable TV/DVD player along with a copy of the Little Princess DVD. Three runners-up will win a copy of the Little Princess: Playtime In The Kingdom DVD.

Playtime in the Kingdom (Volume 5) follows a frolicsome and curious Little Princess on her learning adventures around her castle, under the watchful eye of her parents (King and Queen), maid, general, admiral, prime minister and chef. Wherever she goes mischief is sure to follow but luckily her trusted best friends, Scruff Puss and Teddy Gilbert are never far from her side. Episodes include: I don’t want a bath, I want my dummy, I want a tent, I don’t like worms and I want my voice back.

The Little Princess series, aired six days a week on Channel 5’s Milkshake, is an adaptation of the best selling international children’s books by Tony Ross and has continued his legacy by becoming the number one show for 2-6 year olds.

The magic of The Little Princess captivates and invites children and their parents to laugh and learn about the world together. The viewer experiences life through a ‘child’s eye’, as the adventures of The Little Princess deal with what children enjoy, dislike, play with and worry about. The charming and endearing characters deal with everyday challenges that children and parents can face together; conquering fears, confronting new situations, and learning to accept that sometimes things don’t quite go according to plan.

Voiced by Jane Horrocks (as The Little Princess) and Julian Clary (as the narrator), The Little Princess offers gentle humour, making it a show that parents can enjoy with their children.
