Employees of Air Southwest, Avis or Plymouth City Airport and their families are not eligible to enter. Air Southwest and Avis accept no responsibility for any damage or injury caused by the competition prizes. Avis will never release your personal details to any company that is not a member of the Avis Rent A Car System for marketing purposes. Air Southwest will not share your data with any other third parties unless specifically mentioned.
Flights element of prize: Prize includes 2 return Air Southwest flights to Plymouth or Newquay from any of the destinations serving those routes. There is no cash alternative. Transfers and travel insurance are not included. Flights to be taken before 30 May 2009.
Car hire element of prize: The winner will receive up to 4 days car rental with an Avis rent a car at the winner’s chosen destination. The vehicle will be a medium sized car - car group will vary by location. Prize may only be used between Friday to Monday inclusive.
Prize must be booked at least two weeks in advance and is subject to availability. The prize may not be available at peak periods such as Christmas, Easter or national holidays. The prize is inclusive of Unlimited Mileage, Collision Damage Waiver, Theft Protection, Location Charge, Vehicle Road Fund tax and VAT. In other words, it includes all basic insurances needed to drive the car.
The prize does not include fuel, refuelling service charges or optional extras such as child seat or additional, excess reducing insurance. The winner will need to pay for any such extras themselves. Avis reserves the right to substitute an alternative car in the same group.
The winner must be aged 25 or over, with a full valid driving licence held for at least two years with no endorsements and a credit card for security/deposit purposes. Alternatively the winner may nominate a driver who meets the criteria stipulated.
