Has anyone considered saving money on shampoo and conditioner by simply not washing their hair? At two washes and a dollop of conditioner every couple of days. think how much you could save over a year!
There is another board (something to do with chickens) where there is a lot of this going on, but I wondered whether anyone here had ever tried it?
I did about a fortnight last summer when I was off work, using a hot water and vinegar/rosemary rinse but didn't get the chance to do a proper trial.
Mine is very thick, slightly wavy and fairly oily. I have tried various things (I'm quite interesting in environmental issues and certainly a penny-pincher) and washing twice a week and conditioning once a week is the only thing which works.
Bet of luck. My friend who only uses almond oil as moisturiser has the most beautiful skin of anyone I know!
