I would say 4, but that is based on first 2 squares = 9, 2nd 2 squares also equal 9
    second row 1st 2 squares = 10, 2nd 2 squares = 10
    etc.

But I could be totaly wrong

well at least that makes more sense than my reason for choosing 4

I added up all the numbers and it was 96, so based on the fact that it is a 4x5 grid and that 4x5=100, then 100-96=4!!

    :rotfl:

told you your reason was better!!

its 4 the number is 4

    (6318)(1973)(5849)(2433)(758?)

count up every 2 digits (6+3=9 1=8=9) (1+9=10 7+3=10) (5+8=13 4+9=13) (2+4=6 3+3=6) (7+5=12 so logic would say 8+4=12) thus concludes my maths lesson as you see every 2 didgits add up the same ))

    totally agree

what is great is that everyone used a different method and ended up with the same number!
