Hope he gets well, but I see a few chairman etc going this way over the next 6 months.

We will see things get better over that period but next year will see more trouble in the US. Wish I could flag for this post to pop up in 6 months so I can say told you so!

Yeah, right, health reasons..... he is leaving to ensure he can still cash in his bonus, shares and golden goodbye.

Well, I have done the deed and found myself a "real" job :rotfl: :rotfl:

"Just a cynical dig at those who vilify us advisers on here." :rotfl:

I planned to go back to broking but the market is just too bad and a lot of people I know have left the market place as well. I thought of staying at my bank but there the targeting and the everyday hassles became unbearable. It was a tough decision after all the continuous studies to get to where I was. But still sometimes things happen for a better, greater reason. By chance I came across a job that fitted the bill and I will no longer be in finance. Still getting a number of calls a week from recruitment agents but just not interested anymore. My bank stuck me on gardening leave which is fun, hope the weather keeps up to actually do some gardening for the next 4 weeks.

I think I have done the right decision, It was getting me down having to send people away or being unable to help them and knowing not even a broker can help them. Quite depressing at times.

I guess I have to change my signature now. :T Or not have one at all. :p

Oh thanks guys/gals. You bring tears but also a big smile to my face.

I will stay around of course, money-saving is addictive you know!!! I just hope that not more advisers from here jump ship. There will be quite some more negative equity and repossessions coming this way. We are not over the worst yet.
