We've been to the Urdd Gobaith Cymru Eisteddfod at Bro Conwy last week and I am a very proud person. 10 year old got through another lot of prelims on Monday to reach the stage with the Ensemble (8 kids singing in 2, 3, and 4 parts - no conductor, no accompaniest - bit like barbershop singing) and they came second. Ok on Tuesday the Dawns Werin and the Unsain singing group never got through the prelims up there but the Deulais (2 part singing) and the choir did and I was so proud of them walking out onto that stage and they were brilliant and they came first in both of them - I was crying with joy.
