E: 12/06 Win Fujitsu Scansnap scanners - 3x S510 & 3x S300{MERGED}

Computeractive and Fujitsu have teamed up to offer six lucky winners their own Scansnap scanner. These scanners are smaller than ordinary flatbed scanners and their shape allows them to scan lots of pages quickly.

Three lucky winners will each receive a ScanSnap S510 that can scan up to 18 pages per minute and is large enough to scan A3 documents. It also has an Optical Character Recognition function, which converts the scans into Word documents. Once converted they can be edited like any other document. The S510 can automatically choose suitable image and text enhancements, detect the paper size and whether the document is black and white or colour. It will also remove blank areas around text and even entire blank pages to save time and disk space.

Three runners-up will each receive a Scansnap S300 portable scanner. The software can save scans as image files or in the PDF format. A thumbnail view of scans makes it easy to print documents or send them directly to their email boxes or printers. It can scan eight pages per minute, or 16 images per minute for double-sided documents, and scans in both colour and black and white.

Both scanners come with a range of Scansnap software.
