JJ Abrams' Cloverfield was a monster hit in more ways than one. Taking over $80m at the US box office alone, this tale of a monster appearing from nowhere to flatten New York City and scare Manhattanites witless had audiences around the world on the edge of their seats.
Critics queued round the block to praise it too. Cloverfield was "a true milestone" according to Aint It Cool News and "a giant shot of adrenaline" said Entertainment Tonight. The Daily Mail said Abrams' masterwork was "not to be missed".
And you won't miss it either thanks to our latest competition. The beast arrives on DVD and Blu-Ray on 9 June and we've got a host of goodies to give away.
Two runners up will get a DVD each and the winner gets a DVD and a state of the art Panasonic High Definition camcorder.
Liked Cloverfield's handheld feel? Well, you can try making it yourself. Not sure where you'll get the monster from though.

The question is:
Who directed Cloverfield? - Matt Reeves -
J.J. Abrams was the producer, not the director. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
I think this closes 11 July, not 11 June.0
