Need help achieving the look at a fraction of the price!

Girls need new beds, limited space & finances, and the above provides more storage space than regular bunk beds.

Now, the only problem is the price, cheapest I could find was £769:eek: oh, and the fact that it is pine! does anyone know if this look can be achieved in the metal look:confused: how to do it and roughly how much it would cost?

I was thinking about getting a high sleeper and kinda sliding a single bed under it like above pic - will that work  I know there was a post a while ago about a really really cheap single bed under £30, but I can't find it, and I am sure that it is probably finished by now.

Any tips anyone?

Thanks in advance guys!
