1. This promotion is open to UK residents, excluding employees of Visa Europe Services Inc. (“Visa”), their families, subsidiary companies, agents or anyone professionally involved in the promotion. Entrants must be 18 years or over and hold a valid Visa card issued in the UK.
2. This promotion commences 07/04/2008 00:00PM and closes 01/06/2008 11:59PM.
3. Entry: UK Visa card holders who use their card abroad (defined as outside of the United Kingdom) between 07/04/08 – 01/06/08 for a transaction of any value, will be automatically entered into a prize draw to win one of ten trips to the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games. Visa commercial cards and Visa prepaid cards are excluded from the promotion as are ATM withdrawals.
4. Only one entry per transaction.
5. Interim random selections of 100 names will be drawn on a daily basis from eligible entries during the promotional period from all Visa card holders completing a transaction outside of the UK, in order to select entrants for the final prize draw that will take place at 06.00PM on the 6th June 2008 from all valid entries, and will be held under the supervision of PromoVeritas, the independent promotional verification service.
6. Prize winners will be notified by Visa, representatives of Visa, or the winner's Bank within 28 days of the draw date.
7. No correspondence will be entered into and the decision of the independent adjudicator is final.
8. The Prizes: 10 x trips to the Visa Beijing 2008 Olympic Games for two people, to the value of £8,000.
9. Winners must be available to travel on the 13th August 2008 and return on the 21st August 2008. No alternative dates are possible.
10. The prize includes: Return economy flights to Beijing for 2, event tickets for 2 days at the Olympic Games, a guided tour of The Great Wall of China, a trip to the Terra Cotta Warriors of Xian, Shanghai and Suzhou. Also includes 7 nights 5 star hotel accommodation and all scheduled ground transportation.
11. Please note that travel from home to local airport, meals, travel insurance and other costs will be the responsibility of the winner and their guest.
    
12. The winner and their guest, who must both be over 18 at time of travel, will be responsible for ensuring that they have a valid EU passport with a minimum six month validity beyond the return date, and that they are eligible for and obtain any necessary visas from the Chinese Embassy in good time for their travel and at their own cost.
13. No cash alternative will be offered in whole or part and the prizes are non-transferable. In the event that the winner is unable to travel on the set dates, or is unable to obtain the necessary Embassy/country visas, within four weeks of the departure date, they will forfeit their right to the prize, and another entrant will be selected. Travel once booked cannot be changed or transferred.
14. The promoter reserves the right to alter the contents of the prize due to circumstances outside of its control, all contents and timings are subject to availability.
15. Maximum of one prize can be won per household regardless of number of entries.
16. Personal data relating to the promotion will be used by Visa and any 3rd parties solely for the distribution of the prizes and will not be used for future marketing purposes. Data gathered from this promotion will be destroyed after one month from close of the promotion apart from data relating to the winners that is needed for administration of the prizes.
17. Acceptance of these terms and conditions is a condition of entry. The promoter reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions prior to the closing date.
18. Visa and suppliers cannot be held responsible for a breakdown in communications systems or networks that may result in an entry not being registered, accepted or processed.

20. The Prize winners, by accepting the prizes, assign all reasonable rights to the promoters to publish their names and photographs in any promotion, print, point of sale or public relations material for a period of up to one month after the final draw has taken place. The prize winners may be required to appear and be identified in or on national and regional media at no fee.
21. The prize winners' names and counties of residence will be published on the website https://www.visa.co.uk between 1st July 2008 and 1st September 2008.
22. To the fullest extent permitted by the law, the promoter, their agencies and trading partners shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered or sustained as a result of receipt or participation on the prize trip, do not recommend or guarantee the performance of any contractual or other obligations or any third parties associated with the prizes and shall not be liable for any fraud committed by any third party.
