Deforestation, pollution, global warming; the fight to save the environment is headline news across the planet every day, and also the core theme to Rising Star Games’ latest release, Ecolis - Save the Forest.
A real-time strategy game that conveys awareness of environmental perils, Save the Forest tasks the player with defending the super-cute Ecolis world against a host of real-life threats.
By using the Touch Screen to control woodland creatures – the titular Ecolis, Ecoby and Ecomon – the player protects the naturally beautiful Mana Woods, the centre of the Ecolis world, and recovers polluted land by beating the 40 available missions.
Additionally, Ecolis - Save the Forest includes a Land Make feature which lets players build and play their own maps, preventing digital deforestation and revitalizing their own woodlands.
The RTS also supports two-player play via the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection and up to four players on a single card with download play – another eco-friendly feather in the game’s all-natural cap.
Meaningful issues in a fun videogame experience? Stop the press!
For your chance to win one of five copies just answer this simple question:
Which colour do environmentalists commonly use to describe themselves?
