1. The competition closes on 15 June 2008
2. The prize is non-negotiable, non-transferable, non-refundable and valid until 30 June 2009.
3. The prize draw is open to UK residents only.
4. The prizewinner will be chosen at random and will be contacted by phone or email to confirm the prize within 14 days of the closing date.
5. The contents of the £500 (retail-value) Myla goody bag are subject to Myla's discretion and are non-exchangeable.
6. The Hotel prize is subject to availability, non refundable, non-transferable and valid for travel until 30 June 2009.
7. The Hotel prize includes three nights accommodation in a standard double room, with breakfast, based on two people sharing a room. It does not include taxes, expenses, charges, meals or transfers to or from the Bowery Hotel.
8. There is no cash alternative to the prize.
9. The judges' decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
10. If you are the winner please respond to Myla within 14 days stating you are willing to accept the prize and what dates you wish to take them on. If no response is received within 14 days, Myla reserve the right to choose an alternative winner and contact them.
11. Details of the prizewinner will be available upon written request.
12. Employees of Myla and Hachette Filipacci (UK) Ltd are not eligible to enter.
13. Entrants must be at least 18 years of age and proof of age will be required before the prize is dispatched.
14. No responsibility can be accepted for entries which are not properly received due to communications beyond our control.
15. The prize will consist of two pairs of Virgin Atlantic Economy round trip tickets to New York for the named prizewinner for travel between 30June 2008 and 30 June 2009 inclusive.
16. Travel is not permitted between 25 June and 15 September 2008, between 15 December 2008 and 15 January 2009, and between 12 March and 3 April 2009 inclusive.
17. The prizewinner must travel on the same flight and on the same date as their companion.
18. The Prize Tickets are non-transferable to any other airline, including any of Virgin Atlantic's codeshare partners and have no cash value.
19. Prize Tickets are valid for flights originating from the UK only. The prize excludes transfers to and from the departure and arrival airports.
20. The Prize Tickets are not transferable to family members or any other named person.
21. No Virgin Atlantic Flying Club miles will be awarded for travel under this promotion.
22. Passenger taxes, charges, fees and surcharges (the amount of which are subject to change) on the prize tickets are to be paid for by the prizewinner.
23. The prizewinner and their companions will be entirely responsible for their own accommodation, visa, passport and insurance requirements.
24. All flights are subject to availability and capacity control: Popular dates (i.e. weekends, school and public holidays) will fill quickly and Virgin Atlantic cannot guarantee availability on some dates. Availability for use of Prize Tickets is limited for each flight. Some flights may already be booked and consequently have no seats available for this promotion.
25. The prizewinner and their companions will abide by and be subject to Virgin Atlantic's published Conditions of Carriage, which are available from any Virgin Atlantic office. Virgin Atlantic flight schedules are subject to change without notice.
26. The Prize Tickets are for travel in Economy class only and cannot be upgraded to any other class.
27. In event of an infringement of these Terms & Conditions or Virgin Atlantic's Conditions of Carriage by the prize winner or their companion, Virgin Atlantic reserves the right to withdraw the right to further tickets.
28. Once a booking has been confirmed no changes are permitted. If a booking is cancelled no alternative tickets will be issued and the tickets for that calendar year will be deemed to have been used. For the avoidance of doubt, no compensation and/or refund will be provided.
29. The Prize Tickets may not be used in conjunction with any other promotion or promotional fare mounted by Virgin Atlantic or any third party.
30. Once the Prize Tickets have been issued Virgin Atlantic shall not be liable for any failure to comply with its obligations caused by (but not limited to) weather conditions, fire, flood, strike, hurricane, industrial dispute, war, terrorist activity, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, or any other circumstances beyond the control of Virgin Atlantic.
31. These Terms & Conditions are subject to English Law and the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
