Skin + Bones launches the Embankment Galleries, a stunning new exhibition space beside the River Thames.
This is the first major international exhibition devoted to the complex relationship between fashion and architecture.
Discover how 50 of today's most brilliant fashion designers and architects 'fashion' buildings and 'construct' garments including Alexander McQueen, Vivienne Westwood, Yohji Yamamoto, Hussein Chalayan, Frank Gehry, Future Systems and Zaha Hadid.
TALKS
Opening night talk with Brooke Hodge, curator of the exhibition, who will be discussing key themes and pieces from the exhibition. Hodge is Curator of Architecture and Design at The Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles.
Join Mark Eley of Eley Kishimoto, Tom Emerson of 6a Architects and Elias Redstone of the Architecture Foundation as they talk about the Hairywood Tower collaboration. A model of their urban summer house installation can be seen in the Skin + Bones exhibition. Talk chaired by Masoud Golsorkhi, editor of Tank magazine.
