For this week’s competition we are offering you the chance to win the mouth-watering catalogue raisonn! of ‘Gustav Klimt’ by Alfred Weidinger (Prestel Verlag; £89/$148) – reviewed in Apollo’s January issue.
For your chance to win just answer the following question:
Of which art movement was Klimt a founding member?
Email your answer to offers@apollomag.com using ‘Klimt’ as the subject of your email.
We will be featuring Klimt again in the coming weeks so for your chance to win a pair of tickets (£16) to the forthcoming exhibition at Tate Liverpool –‘Gustav Klimt: Painting, Design and Modern Life in Vienna 1900’ `– and the accompanying lavish catalogue worth £24.99, keep logging in to the Apollo web site each Friday https://www.apollomagazine.com
The answer I think is Vienna Art Nouveau (Vienna Secession) found on Wiki. I'd be grateful if someone could confirm this. Feeling bit ashamed as I studied Art A level
Good luck everyone

The Vienna Secession was founded on 3 April 1897 by artists Gustav Klimt, Koloman Moser, Josef Hoffmann, Joseph Maria Olbrich, Max Kurzweil, Otto Wagner, and others.
