Terms and conditions
All entrants are responsible for ensuring that they can accept and enjoy the prize before they enter (by way of example only, by obtaining any relevant landlord, ‘main householder’ and/or local authority consents).

In order to receive and enjoy the prize, winners will be required to enter into the relevant contracts with Sky (Sky digital and Sky Multiroom subscription contracts, and the Free Dish and Box contract where applicable).

1. This Promotion is open to all residents of Great Britain, aged 18 years or over. Proof of age may be required. Employees (or family members of employees) of any British Sky Broadcasting Group company, companies associated with the Promotion and all affiliates of such companies (collectively “the Companies”) may not enter any prize draw or competition.

2. The Promoter does not accept responsibility for network, computer hardware or software failures of any kind, or any other reason beyond the Promoter’s control, which may restrict or delay your entry into the Promotion. Only one entry per person and per household. Entries must not be sent in through agents or third parties.

3. The prize shall consist of:

a. One branded MTV standard Sky set top box (X-Ray box); and

b. Free standard installation; and either

c. for Winners who are existing Sky TV customers at the time of the draw date, a free 12 month upgrade to Sky Multiroom subscription for use with the X-Ray box and a free 12 month upgrade to the ‘Sky World’ subscription package; or

d. for Winners who are not existing Sky TV customers at the time of the draw (or during the preceding 3 months), and who do not live in a household with an existing Sky TV customer (and did not do so during the preceding 3 months), a free 12 month subscription to the Sky World package (or equivalent) and a concurrent 12 month Sky Multiroom subscription and an additional standard Sky set top box*.

*Maximum of one free dish and box per household. You are ineligible for a free dish and box if you have entered into an Interactive Discount Contract or your household has previously benefited from one. Sky selects your equipment.

4. Sky Box Office Movies, Stand-alone Premium Channels and pay-per-view services and events are not included in the prize and must be paid for separately. Winners may be required to provide their credit card details and/or Direct Debit details, for example to benefit from these additional services and if they wish to continue their Sky subscription(s) after the initial 12 month expires.

5. Winners will be required to sign the appropriate contracts as required by Sky (e.g. Free Dish and Box contract, Sky digital and Sky Multiroom subscription contracts).

6. All entrants are responsible for ensuring that they can accept and enjoy the prize before they enter (by way of example only, by obtaining all necessary landlord, main householder and local authority consents).
7. There is no cash alternative to the prizes (or any part of them) and unless agreed otherwise in writing the prizes are non-refundable and non transferable.

8. Sky will contact the winner to arrange standard installation of the winner’s prize. Installation is subject to availability of the winner. Winners must redeem their prize within six months, failure to arrange your installation within this time period could result in loss of prize. Home moving costs are not included in the prize - if you move home during the 12 months of the prize, you may be charged the prevailing costs normally charged by Sky if you want to move the Sky equipment and subscription with you to the new address.

9. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize (or any part of it) for a prize of equivalent or greater monetary value if this is necessary for reasons beyond its control.

10. You must keep both your main set top box and your Multiroom box connected to the same fixed and operational telephone line for at least 12 months from installation. If you need a minidish you are responsible for obtaining all consents required e.g. landlord’s consent, before installation. Sky shall not be responsible for late delivery caused by the winner or the delay by third parties. Sky may refuse entry or withdraw the prize if you or anyone you authorise to deal with your entry acts in a way towards staff of Sky or the Promoter which Sky reasonably considers to be inappropriate. Multiroom provides the same Sky TV channels as your main Sky TV subscription on a second box in another room. You must be a Sky TV subscriber at all times during your Multiroom subscription. An extra box is required for each Multiroom subscription (only one multiroom subscription and corresponding box is available as part of the prize).

11. After the 12 months free subscriptions are over, winners will be charged the standard monthly subscription charges applicable at the time, unless they notify us at least 30 days before the end of that 12 month period. Winners will continue to be subscribed to Sky World and Sky Multiroom, and can cancel at any time on 30 days’ notice. The current price of Sky World is £45.00 per month and Sky Multiroom is currently £10 per month for each Multiroom subscription. Other Sky digital packages are available, and provided you keep your package for one month, you can change your package at any time. Prices, programmes and channels are all subject to change, and Sky digital packages may change in accordance with the subscription contracts. Extra costs may apply for non-standard installation and it may be subject to delay. If you cancel your subscriptions after 12 months, you can keep all your equipment (including your branded MTV set top box)

12. Except in the case of death or personal injury arising from their negligence or in respect of fraud and so far as is permitted by law, the Promoter and Sky and their respective associated companies and agents exclude responsibility and all liabilities arising from any postponement, cancellation, delay or changes to the prize details beyond Sky or the Promoter’s control and for any act or default of any third party supplier.

13. Sky’s terms and conditions will apply to the prize as applicable.

14. If any winner is not able, for whatever reason, to accept a prize, then the Promoter reserves the right to award the prize to another participant.

15. The Promoter’s decision is final and legally binding on all entrants. No correspondence will be entered into. Entries that do not comply in full with these entry rules and conditions will be disqualified.

16. Details of prize winners‘ names and counties will be available for one month after the Close of each Promotion by writing to the Promoter at the address set out below and stating the name and date of the Promotion.
17. The name, county and photograph of the winners may be used by the Promoter and its associated companies for post-event publicity purposes.

18. The Promoter will keep details of any entry that you make. By entering the Promotion you allow us to see and share this information with other Companies (including Sky) including for sales, marketing and market research purposes and to send you information by mail about the Promoter and Sky’s products and services.

23. Please print off and keep a copy of these terms and conditions. These terms and conditions are subject to change without notice.

24. This Promotion, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with it, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law. You irrevocably agree that the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim that arises out of or in connection with this Promotion.
