THEME: GLOBAL WARMING
How to enter:
Send us a picture story made up of 6-10 photographs that depict the theme of Global Warming. (see terms and conditions below for details of email address and image sizes)
All entries must be in digital format (from digital camera or scanned film originals).
HOW IT WORKS
FIRST ROUND: NATIONAL
1st, 2nd and 3rd places will be chosen by the editorial staff of Amateur Photographer magazine, and those photographs will be published in a June issue of AP.
FINAL ROUND: INTERNATIONAL
All first prize winners from each country will be brought in for the final international judging at the General Meeting of EISA at the end of June. There will be 16 national winners, 16 photo magazines from all over Europe, and 16 editors in chief as judges.
1ST PRIZE:
TROPHY EISA MAESTRO 2008 AND EUROPEAN PROFESSIONAL CAMERA OF THE YEAR 2008-2009*
Publication of the images of at least 2 pages in the September issues of all 16 EISA photo magazines.
2ND PRIZE: EUROPEAN CAMERA OF THE YEAR 2008-2009* Publication of the images of at least 1 page.
3RD PRIZE: EUROPEAN CONSUMER CAMERA 2008-2009* Publication of the images of at least 1 page.
*These European Camera’s of the Year 2008-2009 will be elected at the same EISA meeting.
EXHIBITION & AWARD CEREMONY
All 16 national winners will have their picture stories exhibited at the Photokina, September 2008, in Cologne, Germany. Prize winners will be invited on 24 September 2008 to the Photokina. First prize winner receive flight tickets, 1 night hotel and entry fee for 2 persons, second and third prize winners the same but just for one person.

TERMS & CONDITIONS
l A photo story based on the theme Global Warming comprising 6-10 pictures must be sent by 1 June 2008 to: amateurphotographer@ipcmedia.com
l Format: at initial stages images should be submitted as JPEG digital files of 800 pixels on the longest edge. Images that are selected for the finals will be required to be resubmitted at a higher resolution (3000 pixels).
l Only one entry per person.
l Entries must be accompanied by your name, address and e-mail address and phone number.
l The national contests will be judged by the editors of that country, and are open only to residents of that country.
l The international contest will be judged by the 16 editors in chief of the EISA PhotoPanel.
l There will be 3 placed winners, 1st, 2nd and 3rd, in both the national and international competition.
l You may only submit your own work. Competition organisers and EISA publishers will not be responsible for copyright infringements committed by entrants.
l The organisers reserve the right to publish winning entries free of charge in any EISA represented country for the purposes of promoting the competition, and in any material relating to the competition.
l There will be no correspondence about the results.
