Sky Tv With Tv+, Extra Standard Box £50 Inc Install

Hi new here so sorry if this is in the wrong bit, I have been looking to get sky in the new house and have came across a deal for May only from a company called digitalworld which covers all of Uk. They offered me Sky+, extra standard box (multiroom), dish, cabling and install for £50!! all equipment and install is guaranteed for 12 months (got this in writing) and i thought this was a fab price. Sky themselves would not go lower than £114.:j

Are you also having to pay for the full package for 12months as well???

Usually sky can offset the money they charge for discounted packages for a few months.

    Website is here:

This link is for a deal that ended last week; no sign of deal OP has seen ... yet.

does sound a great deal - last month's was £79 all in, without multiroom, and that was a good price then!! They are quoting 'multi room' from £55 but this is just enabling a second TV to watch whatever is selected on the main Sky box - good for bedrooms when no-one is in the main room watching, but not true Sky multi room (which requires an additional £10 pm subscription to Sky).

how is it, if you are a new customer the price of installation is £30, but if you are an excisting customer and want to upgrade, they charge you £60 for the installation, surely if you are an excisting customer there is less work for them, as u would already have the dish, so all they need to do is swap the boxes over, oh and change the lnb if you are going from normal to sky+, it is a bit of a rip off if you ask me
Take every day as it comes!!

No the price is the same regardless of what package you take with sky if thats what you mean, think you still have to commit to a 12 month contract with sky tho but thats not a problem for us, when i spoke to Martin at Digitalworld last week then the offer was £64 all in but when i emailed him again last night just to check and get it in writing, i got this reply,

[FONT=arial,sans-serif]Mandy, i can do better than that. New deal for May is £25 for equipment and £25 installation (£50 total) and of course multiroom is still free box and free installation. All equipment and installation fully guaranteed for 12 months. Please call 0800 612 0919 to place your order. Thanks. Martin

You do have to be a new customer tho. When i spoke to sky their attitude was well if you want to go elsewhere then dont contact us if you have a fault! but the contract is still with them and as above the same warranty would apply with sky anyway!

thats a good offer anyone whats the catch?

Mstar dw do it for you, you tell them what package you want and they then arrange with sky to send out your viewing card/s, installers contact you to arrange a suitable time, I cant seem to find a catch in it as was like you a bit wary hence me asking for it in writing from them which he did no problem:T

Eta - unsure re organising the broadband as am tied into BT so never asked about that, am sure Martin can tell you over the phone tho, i found him really helpful
