Sunday Mail (Scotland only) has a coupon on p.46 for a free bottle of Carotino oil from Asda in Scotland only, until May 17th.

Says it's worth £1.99 but the barcode says £1.65 so not sure which price is incorrect.

    Hi Quoia & MSE Members,

On behalf of Reflex Muzic and UB40, many thanks for plugging "TwentyFourSeven" (UK street date 16th June) ... .. and thanks, also, on behalf of the label and UB40 for not posting any pirate links to unreleased material, although, if you / your readers want good quality, non-pirated, preview tracks, a selection of full-length, official previews shall shortly be available for free downloading off UB40’s web-site, that fans and bloggers shall then be very welcome to post / host / file-swap etc in advance of next month’s official release of the full / 17 track album (check-out www.ub40.co.uk for details on 24/7 and the band’s 2008 shows).

To clarify the suggested / requested guidelines for 24/7, if you have a copy of the Mail on Sunday, 10 track promo from today, both Reflex and UB40 have requested that fans and bloggers simply keep these for personal use and do not post / file-exchange copies on-line … .. that being said and, again, as a goodwill gesture to fans and bloggers, the official preview tracks shall be available for free downloading off UB40’s site very shortly.

Many thanks for your support and for respecting UB40’s wishes.

    Regards,

    WEB SHERIFF

Can't see that it matters really, and I find websheriff's post rather odd.

Most people will have bought a Mail today if they really wanted the album.
Many will have bought the MoS and NOT wanted the album.
(I found 2 of the CDs discarded in a waste paper bin just outside my newsagents)
Hundreds of unwanted copies no doubt will be in charity shops nationwide by the end of the week.
Some people may turn to eBay where they were unable to get a copy of MoS because of illness, holidays, newsagents sold out, unavailable where they live, didn't know about the promo until too late, etc. etc.
It's likely that about 2.25 million of the CDs hit the streets today (maybe a few more - 2.5 million ?? - there were 2.9m of the Prince CD edition distributed) so posting "rights issues" on this thread is rather pointless - especially given it's only been viewed 1300 times - and many of those that read the "Newspaper Summary" will be responsible for multiple counts.
I understood that this MoS CD with 10 tracks WAS THE ALBUM - not a PROMO edition with "half" the tracks missing - 17 tracks on the REAL ONE !!
If this is a just a promotional advertising copy ahead of releasing the real one, which you want everyone to go out and buy, then surely spreading it around and sharing it, and getting everyone hooked into it so that they will spend their hard earned cash in a few weeks time, IS EXACTLY what UB40 and all associated parties INTENDED by releasing it this way !
