Sinatra! – The Voice on Screen
Frank Sinatra (1915–1998) was an incomparable entertainer and arguably the greatest popular singer of the 20th century. He was also a fine (if often underrated) actor, and to commemorate the 10th anniversary of his death, BFI Southbank presents a retrospective of his finest films. This season showcases the best of Frank the musical star, singer and serious actor, complementing an extended run of the now too seldom seen Some Came Running (1958), directed by Vincente Minnelli.
