Hi everyone
Silly question time! I'm on a dmp with CCCS at the moment. One of my creditors, Sainsburys Bank have passed my debt onto Blair, Oliver & Scott; they've been largely pretty good and left me alone - unlike other DCA's who want my blood  . This is an unsecured personal loan that I've never missed payments on, even before my DMP. My outstanding balance is £1,292.37. I've been given some money - £600 roughly - from various relatives for my recent birthday and a friend has just paid me some money that they owed from some time ago. This is my smallest debt.
Is it worth me offering BOS a settlement? I was thinking of starting at £400 and going from there. Does this seem sensible?
This is only a "drop in the ocean" as I owe about £20k in total but every little helps. I will get it in writing that it will be a full and final settlement before I pay. BOS have been good quite accommodating so far, so am hoping I can negotiate with them. Just wondering whether folks think this is a good idea?
