Taking place from May 30 to June 1, the festival has been applauded for its diverse and eclectic line-up, its true family friendly atmosphere and programming and its commitment to social, political and environmental issues.

Year four of the boutique festival is set to be the best ever with even more comedy confirmed and an exciting programme of workshops and non-music attractions, to be announced closer to the festival.

The Wonder Stuff frontman Miles Hunt is set to bring his unique stage show to Wychwood, alongside long-term band member Erica Nockalls. Following the release of his critically acclaimed album Not An Exit and extensive touring, the unique show has taken on legendary status featuring a mixture of Wonder Stuff classics, new tunes and Miles' tales from the road.

Bringing the traditional sound of equatorial villages, with a unique urban twist, London-based Kasai Masai, led by Voodoo King Nickens Nkoso have been confirmed for Friday's Big Top line-up while English folk duo and previous BBC Radio 2 Folk Award winners Spiers & Boden join the Big Top's Saturday line-up.

Also confirmed for Saturday are South African singer, songwriter and film composer Chris Letcher and his band and pioneers of British-Asian fusion Kissmet, who effortlessly blend elements of bhangra, raags, rock and funk to create a unique blend of grassroots Anglo-Indian music.

The sublime 3 Daft Monkeys return to Wychwood for the second consecutive year and will be the Big Top's penultimate band of the weekend on Sunday night.

Plus Oxford music don Richard Walters will be performing his stunning, sometimes autobiographical masterpieces.

Completing the eFestivals.co.uk sponsored comedy line-up this year will be Barry Dodds, returning for a second year, Terry Saunders, Bradford-based comic Ben Schofield and former stockbroker and now accomplished comic Damion Larkin.

Tickets for Wychwood Festival 2008 are priced at £100 for an adult weekend pass and £75 for concessions (12-18, unwaged, disabled, NUS). Under 12s go free.
