This fast-moving, side-splitting film starring comedy geniuses Christopher Walken, George Lopez and Dan Fogler explores the outrageous and crazy world of extreme Ping-Pong and is out on DVD and available for ‘download to own’ on the 21st April 2008.
The competition is brutal and the stakes are deadly. Dan Fogler stars as the down-and-out former professional Ping-Pong child prodigy and Def Leppard-devotee Randy Daytona. He left the world of professional ping-pong in disgrace after his defeat at the hands of a hissy East German Karl Wolfschtagg (Thomas Lennon) during the 1988 Olympics. His father’s death on the same day left Randy’s life is a shambles until he gets recruited by FBI Agent Rodriguez (Barry Lopez) for a secret mission.
The FBI want Randy to infiltrate an ‘ENTER THE DRAGON’-style Ping-Pong tournament (to the death!), run by an evil triad leader and one of the FBI's Most Wanted, arch-fiend Feng (Christopher Walken). Laughter ensues as after two decades out of the game getting back into shape for Randy is one hell of a mission!!
Determined to bounce back, recapture his former glory and to smoke out his father's killer, Randy needs his own team to help him turn his life around. He calls upon the spiritual guidance of blind Ping-Pong sage and restaurateur Wong (James Hong - Big Trouble In Little China), and the training expertise of Master Wong's wildly sexy niece Maggie, both of whom also have a dark history with Feng. All roads lead to Feng's mysterious jungle compound and the most unique Ping-Pong tournaments ever staged. There, Randy faces such formidable players as his long-ago Olympics opponent, the still-vicious Karl Wolfschtagg.
But with danger coming at him from every angle, will Randy be able to keep his eye on the balls? Will he achieve the redemption he craves while wielding a paddle? Is his backhand strong enough to triumph over rampant evil?? Hilarity ensues as the gags roll out and the battle begins in which ‘Many enter but only ONE survives’!!
