Fancy getting away from your drab little life? Well, we're giving away a trip to the city of your dreams. Just to give you a brief taste of what excitement’s like...
Send us a picture of what is, in your opinion, the dullest thing your home town has to offer. We’ll draw up a shortlist of the ten crappest pics (5 from on here, and 5 from those blighters at MySpace). If the voting public agree that your pic looks like you live in The Crappiest Place in the United Kingdom then we’ll send you and three mates off for a night out in a UK city of your choice – and we’ll even throw in guest-list for a club!
THE BORING LEGAL STUFF
1. Prize includes return rail tickets from your home to your chosen UK city, one night’s hotel accommodation (b & b) and guest-list to a club of your choice in that city (all of which are subject to availability). Prize will be up to the value of £700.
2. The winner and accompanying friends must all be aged 18 or over.
3. Travel must be completed by 1st December 2008.
4. Closing date for entries is Midnight Sunday 18th May 2008.
5. The judges at E4 will select the best 10 entries (5 from E4.com and 5 from Myspace) to go forward to the voting stage on E4.com.
6. Judging will be based on originality and humour, and on the photo itself (i.e. not on our prior knowledge of how “crap” a place is).
7. Voting will be open from midday Thursday 22nd May to midday Thursday 29th May.
8. The image that receives the highest amount of public votes will win the prize.
9. In the event of a tie, the judges at E4 will make the final decision.
10. Feel free to enter several times but note that only one entry per person may be selected for the voting stage (which will be at the judges discretion).
11. Winners will be notified by phone. They will then have 5 days to accept the prize before it is offered to the entrant with the next highest amount of votes.
12. Competition open to UK residents only.
