Designed to prevent starter motor and solenoid failure due to radiant heat, Versa Shield is constructed using an aluminised, reflective material plus an insulating barrier. Capable of reflecting heat up to 1000˚C, it has many different uses in classic cars, including protecting carburettors, distributors, fuel pumps and master cylinders, plus shielding fuseboxes and electrical components. The Versa shield comes in a seven-inch wide, 24-inch long strip. Simply cut to the desired shape and wrap around the component to prevent heat damage.
