I posted this elsewhere, but now discovered this board. I am awaiting surgery & face a VEry long wait for NHS treatment. So I am considering having the op in Belgium, at St remberts in Torhout. has anyone any experience they'd like to share, good or bad, not necessarily this particular hospital, but generally. I need to make my mind up pretty soon, but I would appreciate any feedback

Can't say about this hospital, but had a very positive experience with health care abroad this year. I saw a doctor one morning about a pregnancy related query and we had a consultation and a scan within 2 hours. The hospital was spotless and doctors spoke faultless english. Was amazed at the speed I was seen and treated and also the whole process was very reasonably priced!!0

Just had surgery at the Nuffield in Chester and can highly recommend there. Recent article in Daily Mail was against travelling abroad for surgery as you can't always guarantee good results.0
