    I can recommend Beamish - it's a really good day out.
    They even have a pub (niiiiice!) which serves sasparilla!! And a sweet shop that sells all the sweets from the 'olden days'.

    Iam lucky i only live a few miles from the place and have a family pass.. I can wholeheartly agree with you about recommending the place:beer:
