Constance Carroll 'Daydream' Face Powder - discontinued?

Hi all,
Firstly, apologies if in the wrong place.
I always use the above brand and colour of face powder, but seem to be having real probs sourcing it at the mo. It's usually sold in discount stores and market stalls, but although CC powder is readily available, I cannot get hold of the Daydream one and after buying 3 other shades and looking ridiculous I'm at a loss as to hide the wrinkles and blemishes effectively now!
Anyone know why I can't get hold of it?
Or as an alternative question - how do I find out which colour of other brand face powder looks right without having to buy about 4 or 5 shades first?
I presume I cannot return any that don't look the right colour but equally don't want to buy ones that make me tangoed
and then I'm stuck with them and will have wasted money on a product that is no good.
Obviously some stores have testers but to see the full effect on your face you really need to use more than a fingertip amount, plus considering most stores have terrible lighting (Boots for e.g) then once you get outside you will look totally different.
I'm not a very girly girl so not too savvy on make up (completely hopeless with foundation - always looks like I have stuck someone else's head on! :rotfl:) so any info on how best and cheapest to have flawless skin that doesn't take more than about 3 mins to achieve will be much appreciated!
I'd just got the right colour with that 'Daydream' one and now can't find the bugg3r!!! Plus it's selling for over £3 on eBay - it's only a pound normally!!! (True MSEr, me!)
Thanks for any help or alternative suggestions
