    Answer A: Jodie Foster

THIS IS THE SAME AS THE ONE ON FEMALE FIRST BUT IS ON MALE FIRST. DOES ANYONE KNOW IF YOU CAN ENTER BOTH?

FemaleFirst (??) are giving you the chance to win a Nims Island Goodie bag

Anything can happen on NIM’S ISLAND, a place where everything runs wild, especially imagination. Here, a feisty young girl named Nim (ABIGAIL BRESLIN), surrounded by her exotic animal friends and inspired by legends and books, leads an amazing tropical existence that mirrors that of her favorite literary character: Alex Rover, the world’s greatest adventurer. Nim idolizes Rover, so when her scientist father and the secret island to which he’s brought Nim suddenly seem to be under threat, she reaches out across the deep blue sea to the creator of her hero for help.

But what Nim doesn’t know is that the acclaimed author of the Rover books is, in fact, Alexandra Rover (JODIE FOSTER), a retiring, fainthearted recluse locked away in a big city apartment. Now, as Alexandra nervously ventures forth into the world and Nim faces the biggest challenge of her exciting young life, they must both draw courage from the fictional gallantry of Alex Rover, and find strength in one another’s willingness to believe, to conquer Nim’s Island.

The goody bags contain the following:
    - T-shirt
    - Lunch Bag
    - Journal
    - Money Box
    - Kaleiderscope

    Good luck all!

  • I saw the competition you'd posted, Elver Man, and thought I'd posted a duplicate but then saw yours is on Female First and this one is on Male First (although they say Female First in their blurb) and they both have different addresses. Do you think it would count as a duplicate entry if you entered on both sites?

    Its confusing isn't it:confused:

I remember last year we had the same thing raised and i cant remember who but after contact with the mag's they said it was the same comp. Thats why the female first ones are posted and if you look back you will see very few male first postings. Unless of course its a comp thats not on female first.

Many of the Bauer Consumer Media comps are the same, they can be on several mags but you may only enter once if its the same link..

There's also a Teen First site if you check the links at the bottom of the page. I used to post these, & very occasionally they would list different prizes for different sites, but I think generally there's only 1 prize, & you should probably only enter just once on whichever site you prefer.

I must admit I no longer enter these at all, as the site always seem to have some ads which defeat my pop up blocker, & I'm not sure we've ever had a winner, or even a winner's list! :rotfl:

  • Thanks both for the information. It would be nice if sites were a little clearer, wouldn't it? Sorry for any confusion!
