Argos Prices List, Sorted by Saving

Below are 2 lists i've generated. One is sale items only, the other is a big list of over 13,000 items from the Argos website.

If you have Excel, you can sort/filter/search to your hearts delight.

May be something amongst the lists worth having?

  • Must have taken you ages to do this.

    ;o) Not too long.

I saw a 3510i phone for £20, which isn't bad, but all gone near me..

Excellent work. Can you tell me (& the rest of us) how you managed to produce the Excel list, as i would be interested in doing something similar myself.

    Thanks.. Del

Do you mean how to put that list into Excel form?

If you do then Select all of the list (Ctrl A) and copy it (Ctrl C), open Excel and just paste it in (Ctrl V). Then you can play about with it how you like.

Thanks for that, BUT what i was really looking for was how 'iyiarz' got the complete Argos item list in the first place.

I thought you might but I thought I'd point it out anyway. It is one extensive list, maybe insider knowledge. I hope so otherwise it must have taken an age to compile!!

Is it not just the list that is currently on the Argos site, converted? Or does it have more on? I haven't really had a good chance to look through recently, but a lot of it seems familiar.

Sorry, I forgot to check for responses...

I've written a script in Excel VBA which queries the site itself, product by product, parsing and extracting the information. :)
