Range of bikinis available at Asda for £3

Monday 28 April 2008

What's the deal?

A range of bikinis are available instore at Asda for just £3 each. Sure, it could be argued that three quid is a lot to spend for such a small amount of material, but if you're planning a truely budget summer holiday, these little numbers may well be just up your street.

Cheap and cheerful

Fits and styles of swimwear suit and flatter each body shape differently, so admittedly this bikini won't be perfect for everyone. But if you're just after a bit of material to cover your modesty, or if you're a beach babe that can't be seen in the same bikini more than once (would true MoneySavers do this?) it's worth checking these out to save a packet.

They're available in:

Colours: A large range including yellow, pink, blue, khaki, brown and black
Styles: A range of tie-up and halter-neck
Sizes: 8-22

How to get an itsy bitsy bikini

They've been available at this price for some time and as they've had wide press coverage in the papers this week stock's likely to fly out.

You've got to go instore to get them, and stock should be nationwide, in all branches that have the George clothing line. Find your nearest Asda that stocks it.

What do you think?

If you've popped into Asda and had a look, what so you think? Please report your opinion below. How do you rate them compared to alternative cheap ones at Primark or other discount stores?

  • Was with daughter when she bought them yesterday - she bought one of each colour, less than the cost of a single bikini from lot of high street stores and perfect for lounging on the beach. Not sure they yould be good if you needed a lot of support. Last year I bought some black bog-standard one piece swim suits from them in the sale - £2 each (perfect for my early morning swim), are lasting really well.

    Hi everyone!

Great find, but I must admit there are many market stalls selling bikinis at about the £3 mark, but nobody is promoting them. Everyone is promoting the big supermarkets which I think is unfair on the small business.
  • Poundland have bikini tops and bottoms

    HTH FiFi :)
